FPT equipment for the realization of the longest aerial transport system for bulk materials on ropes in the world

FPT participated in the project to build the world’s longest cable-suspended conveyor belt.

A 7-kilometer cable-suspended conveyor belt (FlyingBelt) was built in Brazil in the municipality of Barroso. The system is 7.2 kilometers long and crosses over obstacles and difficult terrain while minimizing its impact on the surrounding environment.

FPT designed and manufactured a system of drive cylinders and control units for tensioning the supporting cables.
