FPT Fluid Power Technology designs and manufactures custom hydraulic cylinders high pressure, engineered to operate from 350 bar up to 2,000 bar, fully tailored to customer-specific technical requirements and application needs.
Every cylinder is developed starting from detailed design specifications, including force, stroke, dimensions, and special functional requirements. Our engineering team delivers fully customized hydraulic jacks and cylinders built for maximum performance, reliability, and safety in the most demanding industrial environments.
Our production range includes high tonnage hydraulic cylinders capable of reaching up to 3,000 tons, lifting cylinders, heavy-duty hydraulic jacks, hollow plunger cylinders, locking collar cylinders, and double-acting lock nut cylinders designed to secure and speed up the return phase. We also manufacture extra-flat and compact cylinders, ideal for confined spaces where reduced overall dimensions are essential.
Depending on the application, cylinders can be single or double acting, with spring return, mechanical locking ring nut, or load return systems. Materials and configurations are selected to ensure optimal performance, including lightweight aluminum cylinders for easy handling, and stainless steel cylinders for highly corrosive or aggressive environments.
FPT also develops advanced custom solutions such as subsea hydraulic cylinders, systems with integrated stroke and pressure transducers, and cylinders equipped with liquid cooling for fatigue and endurance testing. Special surface treatments such as NITOX QPQ ensure extremely high wear and corrosion resistance in harsh operating conditions.
Our R&D and engineering department works closely with customers throughout the entire process, from technical consulting and design optimization to final production. All equipment is fully designed and manufactured in Italy within our advanced production facility, equipped with state-of-the-art CNC turning and milling machines. Each cylinder is assembled, tested, and validated internally to guarantee the highest quality standards.
