The FPT hydraulic cylinders are normally used for lifting operations or translation of bridge decks or decks parts. For this job for the translation of a bridge portion have been used the FPT – Fluid Power Technology cylinder’s model CRI 100/460SP, 100 ton and 460 mm of stroke with 4 holes on the bottom of the cylinders.
The operations of translation were carried out several times with 8 cylinders in order to move the structure of about 11 meters to reach the correct positioning.
The cylinders have made following a special design following the customer requirements.
