FPT has designed and manufactured a complete series of metric hydraulic nuts with a working pressure of 2,250 bar for M36–M56–M72 tie rods, featuring a surface treatment and special seals for environments with high operating temperatures, as the nuts were used inside a steel mill.

FPT can produce hydraulic nuts to customer specifications to make the most of the available space. Hydraulic nuts are used when high tightening torque is required and are primarily employed when maneuvering space is limited or in cases of frequent disassembly and reassembly.
