In 2016, FPT – Fluid Power Technology completed the construction of a new production facility spanning nearly 1,000 m², which, together with the existing facility, forms a production area of approximately 3,000 m² equipped for the manufacturing and assembly of FPT products.

The new production facility is used for raw material storage, welding, and heat treatment. A new Mori Seiki 4-axis machining center dedicated to milling has been installed in the main facility, while a CNC lathe with a bar feeder enhances the existing machine fleet in the turning area. These investments aim to strengthen and expand FPT’s production capacity and provide greater flexibility in the machining processes performed.

To maximize quality standards, FPT has invested in a facility where dynamic tests can be conducted during lifting operations and to provide its customers with training that is as practical and specific as possible. In addition, FPT is able to issue certificates for NDT (non-destructive testing) inspections, as our staff holds a Level 2 UNI EN ISO 97/12 qualification. Recently, FPT also obtained OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for occupational health and safety management.

The research and development and engineering department has been strengthened with the addition of professionals dedicated to the study of new products and the development of special projects requested by customers. FPT is the strategic partner for the development of customized solutions that are increasingly in demand in the lifting and clamping market.
