An impressive and highly complex lifting operation was successfully carried out over the Sông Sài Gòn (Saigon River) in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, using the advanced FPT – Fluid Power Technology Synchronous Lifting System. The project represented a significant engineering challenge, requiring absolute precision, reliability, and total control in a demanding urban and environmental context.
The operation involved the coordinated use of two Synchronous lifting Machines managing 48 lifting points, each connected to multiple hydraulic cylinders working simultaneously. This sophisticated configuration ensured perfectly synchronized movements throughout the entire lifting process, achieving an exceptional accuracy of up to 0.5 mm. Such precision was essential to guarantee structural integrity, operational safety, and smooth execution during every phase of the lift.
Synchronous lifting is critical when dealing with large-scale structures and multiple lifting points, especially in scenarios where uneven load distribution or structural deformation must be avoided. The FPT Fluid Power Technology system provided real-time monitoring and control of each hydraulic cylinder, allowing continuous adjustment and alignment during the operation. This level of control significantly reduced stress on the structure and ensured maximum safety for both equipment and personnel.
The project was successfully executed by FREYSSINET VIETNAM, whose expertise and experience, combined with FPT’s high-performance synchronous lifting equipment, made it possible to overcome the technical complexities of this operation. The collaboration between advanced technology and skilled professionals played a key role in achieving a flawless result.
This remarkable lifting operation over the Saigon River stands as a strong example of how innovative hydraulic solutions and precise synchronization can support critical infrastructure projects in challenging environments. It highlights FPT’s commitment to delivering reliable, accurate, and high-performance synchronous lifting systems for complex lifting applications worldwide.
