Synchronous lift system and high tonnage cylinders in action in UNIENVILLE & POLIGNY

On behalf of the EPTB Seine Grands Lacs – EST OUVRAGES in co-contracting with Bourgogne Franche Comté Signaux were able to lift two structures in order to demolish/repair the support, and change bearing devices.

The first structure (OA6), located in the municipality of Unienville (10), consists of a structure of 3 VIPP beams, comprising a single span. Here is the work carried out:
– Lifting of the structure by LAO with 8 synchronized cylinders (4*250 tons + 4*160 tons),
– Demolition/reconstruction of the lower and upper support bosses, with specific mortars with very high short-term resistance,
– Demolition/reconstruction of 3 jacking bosses,
– Implementation of the new AAEF,
– Load transfer using the Synchronous lift system on new supports

The second structure (OA19), located in the municipality of Poligny (10), consists of a prestressed slab in 3 bays. Only the supports on the abutments have been changed.
– Lifting of the structure with SACO Ø350mm flat cylinders, capacity 110 To,
– Removal of old AAEF,
– Implementation of the new AAEF,
– Load transfer using the Synchronous lift system to new bearings.
